Couldnt make it up. Those words came out of a certain Syracuse alum named Dion Waiters in an interview tonight.
The lowdown: Waiters hit a stepback 3 with 10 seconds left on the clock to put the Cavs up 2 against the Spurs. Dion proceeded to stomp around mean mugging for 20 seconds. Spurs called timeout. Next play Parker drove and Waiters was standing around hands on his side in the side of the key completely lost. Parker kicked it out to Kawhi Leonard in the corner, who should have been guarded by Waiters, and Leonard drained a game winning 3.
A reporter after asked him what he felt like and he said, "terrible. Just a nasty taste in my mouth". Hours after Boat had his now infamous quote. Looks like Cuse players, fans, and alums all have a nasty taste in their mouths tonight!!!!
P.S I wonder where Waiters learned to play "lockdown" stand around in no mans land with your hand by your side d like that
