Was solid in the 2nd game but otherwise not impressive. At the end of the day we can't forget he was the 24th pick. He's only in the spotlight because of LeBron.

There's a long list of rookies who looked unremarkable in summer league and then played well once the season started.

TJ Ford was the best player at the 2003 NBA Summer League.

LeBron was okay. Take it with a grain of salt.

Shabazz's competitive advantage lies in is his head, guts, and balls. He has more than held his own against the best that college b-ball has had to offer, including guys who went on to the NBA. Good luck, Shabazz.

Its hard sometimes to play w people you never played with before. Haven't made that chemistry yet with each other tendencies.

This is really worrisome. If he doesn't pick it up and have a decent NBA season it could really hurt us with recruiting in the next few years.

MCW and burke were both absymal in summer league last year. MCW chucked his way to 27%fg and 5 turnovers per game and burke shot 24% and didnt impact the game at all. so while its obviously not good that he struggled, its not a huge concern because summer league is not very predictive especially for pgs

I think Josh Selby posted the best stats in the history of the Summer league the year he played. And look where he is now.

PG is the hardest position to transition into the NBA. The game speed is faster, clock is faster and so are the players. His decision making has not yet adjusted nor his floor management. Hell he's still probably working on 35 seconds. Remember Bazz is a control freak with the ball, and he's looking at what appears to be disorganization right now. It should clear up in time, he's got the right attitude/personality for sure and that's why the summer league is important for Bazz. Not so much performance but NBA type game experience.

Its way too early to fret. For Bazz this is practice in the biggest sense of the word, and as a new NBA point guard he needs it.

For what it's worth, Marcus Smart looked pretty bad too, and he was the 6th pick.

well now Shabazz will have to PG one of the worst rosters in the league. Who the hell will they have? I'd say they'll throw too much money at Wade to have him retire there, but they need to fill a roster. Charlie V could have a good shot at getting signed there

lol that team is going to be SO bad. Bazz, Wade...is Birdman signed next year? they could legitimately go from first to worst.

He's talking about not getting calls like at UConn. Is he doing the car accident thingy?

Bazz, Norris Cole, they already made deals with Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger, I'd say Wade will be back. The rest is a guess, Birdman will go elsewhere if he can get the money, but guys like him and Haslem might stay, they've been in Miami for awhile

One can be assured he would like to take that comment back, as read it say's I was not prepared for the next level. Maybe King James gets him traded to Cleveland to take him under his wing.

The NBA is a different animal. A guy who has played very very good PG is Nick Johnson--look at the difference physically between him and Napier size speed athlelitic ability. The NBA is more about athletic ability if you dont have size. Napier showed so many flaws and he looked small and non athletic
