VanDerveer named Naismith Coach of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO – STANFORD’s Tara VanDerveer has been named the 2021 Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Friday. In her 35th season on the Cardinal bench, VanDerveer has led her team to a 29-2 record and the program’s 14th Final Four.
