Megan Ferguson and the Iowa Hawkeyes at Carver/Hawkeye Arena.
I attended the game last night. Since I first saw Megan play last winter I've thought she was the best offensive center in the game (including the Pros and Overseas players). I wanted to see her play in person.
It only took about 12 seconds for her to score a basket last night off the tip-off. NC Central started sagging on her like teams did last winter in the NCAAs but I think the coach has solved that strategy by acquiring some dead-eye 3 point shooters. The question remaining is can those guards keep the other team from driving and getting Megan in foul trouble lake last year.
I left in the 3rd quarter when Megan sat down with the Hawkeyes ahead by 60. I want to attend a few more games before the Big Ten season starts and they show all the games on BTN.
