UConn's ACC bid naming fan support as an area of concern. Well lets just see fan support when FSU plays GT tonight for Conference Championship and the BCS bid - compared with UConn vs UC with a low lying bowl invite on the line if UConn wins.

So many Southern fans think UConn fb sucks and is not supported. They think we are like BCU. Unfortunately the facts do not change this assumption.

I hope today the Rent will be hopping and ESPN will do a graphic crowd comparison to that ACC ticket giveaway bowl tonight in Charlotte.

Butts in the seat at 3:30 did not look that good.

and the student section looks especially empty

Yes UConn fans have a hard time telling time.

Hopefully ESPN pans the crowd in the third and forth quarters because it will be NUTS

The radio down here in NC was advertising that there were still LOTS of tickets left for sale for the ACC Championship game. They were talking really low prices to grab tix. It would be ironic if they were concerned about our fan support when they can't give away tickets to their own conference championship.

Hey, give them a break. They have to compete with the Bobcats for the local fans and the Bobcats are actually winning some games this year. If the ACC knew what this NBA season was going to look like they would have played this game in DC.
