1. the loss is tough, but i thought going into this game id rather lose tonight and have that 'fire' if we meet in the tournament opposed to winning tonight and going into the tournament, 'oh we beat baylor we can do what we did in february and win again'
2. i dont mind the physical play, but those two incidences between griner and stef were officiated way too loosely. it really bites that the second throw down was a no-call. it also kind of stinks that geno didnt really do anything about it. (i wasnt at the game so i dont know his reaction, but nothing was shown on tv and i have to think if he was furious the cameras wouldve caught it.)
>>>>im glad our huskies are classy and all, but there should have been some fight after the griner dolson spat. im not talking a fist fight melee, but someone shouldve gotten in someone face, or gotten physical right back to send a message.
it seemed to me that a big difference after the flagrant was UConn taking a step back. it shouldve been different, they should have gotten more physical.
3. i know kiah isnt consistent, and i know stef was great and deserved her 40 minutes, but there needed to be kiah or heather to rough up griner. i respect and understand the classiness of UConn, but i was extemely disappointed in their lack of physical response.
4. i really like our chances of not losing again in the 2012-13 season!!!!
