Looking for some posters who have participated/watched any of the various 5k+ runs like Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, etc....
I am running a 5k race this weekend and was curious what competitors and spectators can bring into the venue-can we bring food? I'm guessing yes since athletes need to fuel up and they want you there 2 hours before your start time. How about folding chairs? My 7-year old son is also doing the race and I just envision having to hold him for a LONG time as he gets tired from standing around waiting for his race time.
