Apologies if this has been covered and, if so, I'd appreciate a link... I'm using MS edge for most of my browsing in Win 10 and it seems to have a particular problem with the boneyard and long-running scripts. Anyone else?

Not a known problem, but if it doesn't get better, try a different browser.
