Sayles films don't get a lot of publicity, but this one got even less than normal even for Sayles. Released in 2007, it is one of the last films Sayles directed. I think it is very good, and my wife just loves it. This film's focus is on a failing blues joint down south around 1950 that is in need of a pick me up.
