Of course. However, I would also tell those folks that "B12 only, never ACC" to take a good look at that chart. Just take whomever offers first.

One thing I like about the the B12, there definitely seems to be more enthusiasm for football in B12 stadiums. FSU and Clemson have a big time atmosphere, but most of the other ACC schools seem underwhelming. Meanwhile, all of the B12 school fanbases seem to bring it.

In general, I don’t disagree with your overall point but Virginia Tech is a big time atmosphere for football and NC State is better than 2/3rds of the Big XII

Not much mention of how all the Big 12 teams are doing in the playoff.........................I mean team. Can't wait for the Arizona St. game to see if they hold up the honor of the league.

ACC is most certainly a wine and cheese fan base. Less about brats and Bud Light and more about charcuterie and Chianti.

lol. No, I can’t stand Miami for more than a day. People drive like they are in a third world country, the traffic is horrendous, crime is high…it just sucks at this point in my life. There is good food and attractive people, but that’s about it.

I live not too far away (in another very unaffordable area) and avoid Miami. When I was in my 20’s, I enjoyed it occasionally, but even then, I didn't love it.

Ames is one of the best college towns in the country. These days I like sports bars, a good steak and a slower pace. Ames all day for me.

First, give me an explanation of the “valuation” number. Second, Tell me the last time Texas (2nd or 2rd in valuation) has won a national championship in football or basketball? And Third, how much should an athletic dept generate in revenue to be highly successful? And yes, $$ and NIL $$ is imperative. But to what extent?

Yes drivers are terrible in Miami. I have a place on Brickell Key. I can put up with it since weather, boating, and restaurants is what I enjoy. Have been to Ames Iowa. No water ( lake nor ocean) and terrible winters is not appealing to me.

For instance I can’t see how Stanford is ahead of South Carolina unless the Stanford athletic dept is just incredible at fund raising.

because these rankings are effectively completely made up. athletics departments track/release finances in different ways, so any such list is mostly bs.
