Most teams in ncaa tourney from CT in the same year?

We have several D1 b-ball programs in CT. Fairfield, CCSU, UHart, Sacred Heart, quinnipiac Yale and UConn.
Anyone know or have a guess at the most number of teams that made to tourney in the same time.
My guess would be 3 maybe 4.

I would bet 2, multiple times. UConn with either Yale, CCSU, Fairfield, or UHart. QU and Sacred Heart have never been to the D1 dance.

CCSU made it 3 times in the 2000's. Last year was UHart's only trip. Yale went that year they had Makai Mason at PG. Fairfield has been a few times - my father is a proud Stag graduate.

Yale went twice times in recent years: 2016 and 2019. UConn was there as well in 2016, so CT had two that year as well.

Last year CT probably would have had a good shot at three teams but the Ivy season was cancelled so Yale didn't have a chance.

Seems unlikely we'll get three this year, but two is a strong possibility.

If I remember correctly Yale had like a 50 year gap in appearances. Central only started playing D1 in the 80s and it took them a few years to be competitive at a lower level. I believe that SHU was a similar situation but started a few years later. Not sure about UHart or Q's story but I doubt they've been D1 for more than a few decades each.

I don't remember ever having three but I do believe that we could have (I highly doubt it would have happened more than once). I would be amazed if we ever have had four in the same tournament.

Best I can tell is 2. Fairfield was the only team reppin CT in 86,87 and97. The combination of UConn &ccsu (1)UConn &yale (2) and UConn &uhart (1).
It changes a lot if we combine d2 &d1 but that wasn’t my question.

I could have sworn we had 3 teams one year.

1957 - UConn, Yale
2000 - CCSU, UConn
2002 - CCSU, UConn
2016 - UConn, Yale
2021 - UHart, UConn

I could've sworn CCSU players Greg Oden in the tourney one year - I thought that was 2006

Still remember that 1997 Fairfield team that went like 11-20 and gave UNC a decent game in round 1
