Tied for 6th with 19 total pressures: Luke Carrezola, UConn Christian Rector, USC
oh you mean the "four man front" that we ran against Holy Cross?Wait, @Chief00 told us that we adjusted to a 4 man front this week.
Are you guys suggesting he got that wrong??? Shocking.
That can be a misleading stat. Ideally in a 3-4 the OLB's are getting pressure. If your DL are getting pressure in a 3-4 that means blitzers aren't getting to QB.
I understand/get your point but some seem to get caught up in nomenclature - the point is we have players (somebody/anybody) putting pressure on the pocket. This isn’t meant to be a TFL/Sack stat.
3-3-5 defenses often line up in 4, 5 or 6 man fronts. The 3-3-5 refers to the personnel. Three traditional defensive lineman, three LBs and five DBs.oh you mean the "four man front" that we ran against Holy Cross?

On third down and long we usual go 3-2-6 and have one of the LBs rush the passer and one drop into coverage.
In this photograph, the 4th guy on the LOS is standing. He is a LB. The three who have their hands on the group are the three defensive lineman.oh you mean the "four man front" that we ran against Holy Cross?
