Interesting list. That nearly-40-year-old is arguably the most respected player in the league.

Note than Maya (#5) and Elena (#8) didn't even play this season. Sabrina (#4) barely did.

Surprised no Ogunbowale.... is she not a fan's type of player?

A bit surprised Sabally broke the top 10
I am, too. I suspect Satou's off-court personality/activities played a role here. She's not Nneka, but I think she's headed that way.

Satou is personable and articulate (in her 2nd language). She is and should remain a popular player.

This is Sue's 19th season (including some that she missed altogether). It's not as if people are just learning about her. Plus she played only about half of the regular season. Why is she the #1 seller this year, given that she never was before? Is her association with Megan or speaking out on social issues the major cause? I think it's a fabulous phenomenon, though surprising in some ways. She's always been very popular, but not #1, and there must be a lot of jerseys out there sold over 18 prior seasons.

My assumption but her IG live probably helped

and Lebron and Sue keep tweeting mutual appreciation. Guessing the Storm might give the Lakers a better game
