Most intriguing storyline going into this season are....

Since Myers has decided to be a killjoy and is shutting down the 5th starter poll today I wanted to start a list of other storylines people are looking forward to going into the season.
I am looking forward to the degree that Morgan Tuck uses this season to establish herself as “the” POY candidate for the 2016-17 season. In the post Stewie era Tuck as a POY candidate might be enough for UCONN to extend the string of NCs to 5.

This season may further establish Morgan Tuck as one of UConn's all-time greats. She may not have the total points , rebounds , or assists , but who else will be able to claim four(4) NC's ? If the 4th doesn't come in 2016 she will have a chance in 2017......No one player can say that up to this point.
Let's all hope that Stewie and MoJeff can join her in 2016.!!

I have a difficult time thinking of Morgan Tuck, campaigning for POY< I know you didn't say that__. Do I think she would like being POY, certainly. Naive as I am I see Morgan working hard for the team and playing every game in 16-17 as her last. If she does that and those that make the selection are not anti Uconn she shall be POY. Question for all---will Morgan once again be by-passed as an All American during the 15-16 season???

I think one of the most intriguing storylines, in an unfortunately kind of unsettling way, surrounds Lou being out of the nest in college on the east coast with her mother on the west coast. I'm trying to be optimistic and my prayers are with the family...but I'm still feeling a little uneasy as a UConn fan.

To me the biggest question concerns KLS. If her mom is okay and she sets foot on campus Geno will not only have the best team but also the deepest team in the country. Part of me would like to see KLS take KML's spot and bring Natalie off the bench, but the thought big going big is tempting as well starting Natalie. Very nice decision to have.

I don't get this statement...two other players have a chance at 4 NCs, Moriah and Breanna, so can't they say the same thing?

Sarals, please read the last sentence of that post....The statement refers to the fact that Morgan has an extra year to get her 4th NC....And Stewie and MoJeff do not . So they would have to win it in 2016.

The big story line will be the recruiting class of 2012 going for an unprecedented 4 in a row. They can become iconic. Then Morgan can become iconic "and 1."

Another big story line is the level of play and impact of the recruiting class of 2015. Are they really good? Or even better than that?

Did not mean to suggest Morgan would "campaign" for anything. Her play alone would speak volumes and be worthy of POY. Don't see Morgan being bypassed for AA honors in 15-16. There is no better forward in the country besides Stewie.
