My word, Moriah is the bomb. Seriously, who's better at the 1? I hope the results of WBCA and Leiberman voting indicate the answer is "Maybe someone in the WNBA, but not a soul in WCBB".

Jefferson already had a 3:1 ATO ratio. Suffice it to say that statistic has been bolstered.

Obviously I think Loyd wins the Staley award which goes to the best "guard" in the nation, but I think Mo is a shoe-in for the Lieberman award. There is no better PG in the nation, and it's not even close. I think there's a kid who plays for an Ivy who has terrific stats, but their SOS is cream-puffy compared to UCONN's.

I hope Mo wins something, though I think everyone is enamored with the Jewelly-oop.

I love efficient players. Obviously, Moriah's role differs from Jewell's role, but here are some stats:

Player Mo / Jewell

MPG 27.1 / 31.3

PPG 11.7 / 20.6

FG% .568 / .464

3PT% .500 / .344

FT% .826 / .825

Assists 148 / 101

TOs 46 / 79

Steals 81 / 48

These Stats, as all are, are somewhat meaningless or less harsh...... need to be discounted/normalized for the conference UCONN plays in.
