I agree with giving her some more rest mostly because I think it would be a smart move to start Chong again. It would be nice to get to the tournament with two experienced and reliable PGs.

Good thing SMU is in the AAC, (for me, since I live in Dallas) but moreso for Moriah, who gets a homecoming game every year!

Actually when Nurse and Chong were both in, Nurse mainly ran the point.
Yea, appears to work better that way, imo. Kia at the 1 and Saniya at the 2 may well be part of next years starting lineup.

Maybe, but I'm not sure of that yet. Seems it might depend on if Tuck stays or not. I'm assuming she is since she said she is planning on it. So she starts. But without Stewart, I would imagine Geno would want Butler in there too for some rebounding and height. And then Nurse at the 1. Don't know if by next year you can not start Collier and Stewart. That's 5 right there. So who sits for Chong? I suppose Geno could bring Butler off the bench but we would be pretty small then.

Eh, that's a long ways away.

Great for both of you. And maybe more ...doesn't the "new" Dallas WNBA team get 2nd pick in the draft next year. Regardless of their current guard situation, Moriah would be money in the bank for that franchise.

Is this being treated as her senior home game or is there somewhere closer?

SMU at their place will be in her backyard, later this month

I don't think so...I mean that would be amazing if they did, but I'm pretty sure it's Connecticut or San Antonio. Regardless, I am so excited to be able to go to WNBA games now, even if it does mean seeing Skylar

If Moriah was doing the whole warm-up last game, I think with another two days you let her play. Get her off the bench where she is in danger of being injured from flying bodies and basketballs! Let her get a little run, I doubt she plays her normal minutes, but ...

Really no need for Moriah to play, Uconn is a 49.5 point favorite.

Pretty easy to not start Stewart, since she will have graduated.....

If you like WCBB, you'll love the WNBA. I reside in So. Cal. I follow and attend Sparks games regularly since they are the local team. I got to see Jasmine Lister during her brief stint with the us.

I made it a point to attend the games that featured UConn alums. That was an extra special treat. The ladies at this level can ball!
Because I'm still a big Kiah Stokes fan, I became a N.Y. Liberty fan as well. I look forward to the coming season to witness in person how much she has improved her game on the offensive end of the court, after spending a season in Korea. I hope you enjoy the upcoming season. Its addicting.

Per Carl Adamec tweet

Team shouldn't need Moriah to beat Houston, so I would lean towards giving her an extra game of rest and get ready for Courtney Williams on Sunday.

They're not going to need Moriah today. Houston is currently on a 4 game losing streak. They've won only 4 games so far this season. I think UConn will be OK.
The game should be close for about 4 minutes. After that, UConn will begin to pull away. The more rest she gets now, the sooner her "hammy" will heal. I'd prefer to see Moriah leading the "bench mob" in cheers today. She'll be back on the floor soon enough.

As another poster said, now's the perfect time to give Chong and Ekmark some additional floor time. Remember the old adage: "The more you play, the more you play". Everyone benefits from a timely well deserved rest.

When Moriah does return, it won't take her long to get back into the flow, resume pushing the edge of the envelope, and make up for lost time. Like Mike Greenberg says every morning when he opens the "Mike & Mike show on ESPN..........."Back and better than ever".

Go Huskies.

I did not understand this -hamstring issue but MoJeff goes through "full" pregame warmups and then sits?

Damn. I messed that up. KLS. KLS. Geez, my minds gone. Must be TGIF.
Don't worry about it, dude. You really don't need one. I have been operating just fine without a mind for longer than I can remember.

Thanks. I thought so too, but no one seemed to be recognizing it. Frankly, I think it through Kia off.
