Gotta love this kid: “My goal is to get playing time [at UConn],” said Tuck, who scored 2,460 points and grabbed 992 rebounds during her high school career. “I don’t necessarily have to start, but I don’t want to sit the bench the whole year. I want to play and be able to say I made a difference in the game. I want to learn, improve, get better and become a team player with all the great players they have from all around the country.”

She is realistic and humble enough to know that PT is not guaranteed and is hard to get for frosh. But she wants to work for it. And she wants to make a difference. No wonder Jen loved her. We have 3 great players and 3 great kids coming in the fall--on campus in less than 3 months.

Three really incredible players who bring very different, but all compelling, skill sets to the table. Next year especially, there's going to be a lot of depth and experience. However, I'd be shocked if all three weren't early impact players. People who like to leave games early during blowouts may miss the best plays.
