More Georgia recruiting

UCONN was at Westlake (GA) this morning to see Jamie Lewis, Danny Lewis, Chuma Okeke & Michael Durr

Anyone have intel on these players and if the Huskies are in good position with any? Rickey Moore doing more good work in GA!

Durr seems to be a bit of a project, and considering our interest in Z. Brown and I. Obiagu, I don't think our interest in him would be that high. Maybe as a plan E or F down the road depending on how he develops?

D. Lewis and Okeke appear to be solid players with offers from high-major programs. Not really big-name guys yet (Okeke is 59th on ESPN's Top 60 for 2017 and Lewis is unranked), but our staff seems to think that they are worth a look, which I am inclined to agree with.

Except Durr (3*) they are all 2* which seems low for the offers they are getting. Are stars even less meaningful when you are a sophomore?

they give 2* to anyone they haven't evaluated yet so most underclassmen will have 2* unless they are hyped up and well known

VC's one weakness is that they don't update rankings often enough. Okeke is 4 stars on Rivals and ESPN. D. Lewis is 3 stars on Rivals.

I've been on the "we need a recruiting assistant" bandwagon for awhile, but am happy to say that Ricky Moore seems well on his way to becoming exactly that. Already paying dividends in the southeast. We could field some awfully good teams even if we only got players from New England, NYC, Georgia/Florida, and the occassional west coaster inspired by Ollie's story. We're pretty strong in all of those areas.
