Celts beat Denver in 3OT's as Paul Pierce had a triple double, 27 points, 14 RB, 14 assist. Win was Boston's 7th straight and snapped Denver's 9 game winning streak. Boston has not lost since they lost Rondo and Sully.

What a game. PP was amazing!

It's remarkable how well they've played without RR. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Stan Van Gundy was right on the money when Rondo went down, said the C's would start playing better and the role players would step up and start contributing instead of being spot up shooters watching Rondo pound out the shot clock while trying to pad his assist totals.

I pretty much always agree with your NBA analysis, but your Rondo criticisms have been a little off base.

He did tend to overdribble a lot this season, and the ball movement has been light-years better since he's been out. But the assist padding stopped after his 10-plus assist streak ended.

The bad part is regardless of how long their win streak lasts, they will follow it up with an equal losing streak.
