Shhhhhh. She'll never come here if the Yankees give her a million or two dollar signing bonus.

We probably won't be allowed to recruit her anyway since Geno has already committed a recruiting violation. The NCAA needs to make her ineligible from UConn just to remove any appearances of impropriety. Pat Summitt has already submitted 37 pages of potential infractions related to the UConn recruitment of Mo'ne Davis to the SEC office.

She could follow in the (big) footsteps (6'-7") of Steve Hamilton (Morehead State & the Yankees).
... Baseball and basketball (rhymes with Mel Allen's "Baseball & Ballentine"). She could commute from Storrs to "da Bronx" and close the ninth during the school year.

Anyone remember Gene Conley(sp). I recall that he pitched for the Milwaukee Braves and played b'ball for the Celtics. Might have pitched for the 'sox, too.

As a Yankees fan I know they will never sign her until she is way past prime!

You're making me feel old. When I was a kid I went with my Dad to see Gene Conley pitch for the Hartford Chiefs, the Boston Braves' affiliate in the class A Eastern League. Conley was a very popular player in Hartford who won 20 games for the Chiefs in 1951. I remember being very excited when I got the chance to see him play.
