ESPN is broadcasting a women's doubleheader on ESPN2. The first game @ 7pm will be Baylor at Texas A&M and of course the second game @ 9pm will be ND @ UConn.

The central time zone game will start at 6pm local time and the eastern time zone game will start at 9pm local time. This only makes sense in ESPNworld.

Anyone laying bets on how much of the UConn/ND game we miss?

Should be able to watch on ESPN3 at worst if they don't switch over in time.

Baylor should win, but this is the last game they'll play in College Station, and after Kim's comments as to why Baylor will not play A&M again because of their move to the SEC, I bet the Aggie faithful will be rowdy as hell.

As far as why the Eastern Time Zone game is second, the only thing I can think is that this was the game they wanted the whole country to be able to see, whereas the 7:00 game isn't one the West Coast will be able to watch in critical mass.

boy, 4pm PST games are tough I have to tivo them and try not to hear the results or updates before I get home. I'll barely make it home for the UConn/ND tip off.

agree that it prime game, but 6pm is not prime time for us left coasters. Still, I appreciate it is on later than 4pm, so I can rush home and see it live.

I hear that.. I have a 6 PM class, but it's a lab so hopefully I won't be there too long.. I'll probably only be able to catch the last few minutes =(

I was just thinking about how stupid it is. And about how grateful I am that it's working out that way. :D I'm in the central time zone and Zumba from 5:30 until 6:30. A 6:00 (local) start means I miss half the game. And 8:00 (local) start means I get to watch the whole thing.

On the downside, mini mojo chick's bedtime is 8:00. I can't let her stay up. She has a music class in the morning so I can't let her sleep in. ;)
