Some good games on TV tonight (other than UCONN) if you get PAC12 Network and BTN (Big Ten Network) if you get these channels


7pm Ohio State @ Maryland (BTN) -- Should be a good. Chance for many to see OSU's Kelsey Mitchell and also the first time to see the new Maryland team

9pm Nebraska @ Minnesota(BTN) -- Nebraska should win this one with a Banham-less Gopher team

9pm TAMU @ Washington (PAC12 Network) -- I expect TAMU to win this game but Washington has Kelsey Plum who is fun to watch.

Living in Wisconsin for the past 25 years, and now having just moved to Michigan, I can't tell you how much fun I've had having locals guess what folks from Connecticut are called. I'm batting 100% (or maybe it's 0%!) - no one has correctly stated Nutmeggers.

Mitchell is a streak shooter who keeps both teams in the game- I expect CVS to pound it inside against Ohio State. Hart OSU's center just got her 1st rebound early in the second half

Mitchell was tripled team, threw up a shot, some how got rebound and didn't even look to pass to open player. Just ran into the brick wall triple team a second time.

actually they have at least 3 on the bench- non starters 6-5 Blair, 6'2" Cooper, and 5'10" Scullion

Ohio State has no discipline on offense, and their defense is bad ...... they have a long way to go before they are a good team

Minnesota upsets #12 Nebraska 72-69

Nebraska was down players due to the "flu".

Only 7 players and one of them fouled out.

Leticia Romero made her FSU debut Monday; 6 points, 6 rebs, 6 assists, 2 blocks, in 20 minutes. The Seminoles won handily over Jacksonville.

FSU plays Notre Dame Friday in a game I know I'll be following.

Attended the Deleware- Rider game last night. The Blue Hens of Deleware got back on the winning track.

One of the Rider girls went down in the first half and started crying ( I can't stand hearing women cry!). Happily, she got back up and returned to the lineup in the second half! Earlier this year one of the Deleware players broke her leg and is still on crutches...tough game sometimes.
