South Carolina/Michigan. Chole Kitts held it down for South Carolina.  I have always been a fan of hers. She understands the whole concept of "Control the Controllables". She may not get the hype/press like a lot of players, but she knows her attitude and effort are two things she controls, and she always handles her business.

Michigan hung in there. I am impressed. I honestly thought that they would get their doors blown off, but they hung in there and gave South Carolina a little scare. The shots weren't falling, for either team really, but the ones that did fall for Michigan they were huge, especially those two 3-point shots by Syla Swords. Speaking of Swords. Solid game for her and a huge boost to her confidence. The difference in this game, bench. 30/6 South Carolina.

Nice opening day for WBB overall.
