Interesting day of games. So hard to gauge or take away too much when teams are going against different levels of opponents. But I did like what I saw from some of the ranked teams against lesser foes. Kentucky, Iowa State, Duke all looked good at home and had impressive showings from Freshman. Notre Dame also looked great. It's not only the Miles triple double but Prosper looked great all game. Koval is super competent and King is a scorer. I thought both USCs showed something in that they won ugly. At the same time, in game 1.. they both showed they kinda miss what they had last season. Southern California lost 2 of their better 3 point shooters. South Carolina at this point lost their two best post and defensive anchors. I couldn't imagine Swords attacking the basket like that if they had Watkins. I know it's game 1. But game 1 revealed a lot last season. I liked what I saw watching Oregon. Big shouts to Sammie P coming back for usf.
