MoJeff and Stewie lead UConn stats in Sweet 16 victory...

Breanna Stewart and Moriah Jefferson led UConn to a rout of Texas, 105-54, in the Sweet 16 game in Albany. They made the UConn stats as easy as 1,2,3…all the way to 16. Next up is the Elite 8 on Monday.

1. Stewie had only 1 turnover in 31 minutes of play.
2. MoJeff and Stewie scored 2 more points than the entire Texas team...(56 vs 54).
3. Moriah made 3 three pointers on just four attempts.
4. The shortest player on the court, #4 MoJeff, had 4 total rebounds including three offensive boards..!!
5. Stewie and MoJeff had a combined 5 steals.
6. Jefferson had 6 assists. Not bad..!
7. Except Stewie had 7 assists..!!! Wow..!!
8. Breanna went to the free throw line 8 times, making seven.
9. Stewie had 9 defensive rebounds and three blocked shots.
10. MoJeff made 10 baskets on just twelve shots.
11. Stewie sank 11 shots and scored 31 points.
12. Stewart led both teams with 12 total rebounds.
13. UConn had 13 steals to go with ten blocked shots.
14. UConn had 14 offensive rebounds and only 14 personal fouls.
15. UConn went to the foul line 15 times and made fourteen of them...93%.
16. This Sweet 16 victory was Geno’s 100 win in post season.

P.S. Combined stats for MoJeff & Stewie = 56 points, 21 baskets, 16 rebounds, 13 assists, 5 steals, 5 threes, 3 blocks and only 3 turnovers. Wow..!!!

Just one small correction - TX had a PG, first off the bench who is listed as 5'4" so Moriah had to gove up the mantle of shortest player on the court. She is short but she aint that short!
