...and wye hope 18 games left in her career.

Mo notched her 104 season assists over 19 games played. This means she's very much on pace to get to Diana's Uconn record of 648. Five assists a game is what Mo does.

Diana could have two Uconn records broken in two seasons: three-pointers and assists.

Meanwhile, Moriah is as good a PG as we've had in Storrs.

Speaking of records, Stewie is scheduled to pass the great Tina Charles and move into 2nd place in UConn career scoring in the next game. The record of 3,036 set by Maya the Magnificent may be untouchable.

In nearly 60 years of watching the NFL, I still think that Jim Brown is the best player I've ever seen.
I agree 1000%. There are only 3 athletes in sports whose greatness transcends era; Jim Brown, Wilt Chamberlain, and Muhammad Ali. They were the greatest in the era that they competed and they would have been equally as great in any era.

Russ went head-to-head vs. Wilt 143 times in their careers. Russ came out on top in 86 of them, including even when Wilt had Jerry West and Elgin Baylor as teammates. And we know about all those championships. :)

There is no question that Russell played for far superior teams, except for the 66-67 Philadelphia 76er team which destroyed Boston. Check the stats of those 143 meetings and that tells the story of the difference between Chamberlain and Russell and will reinforce the dominance of Wilt over everyone. Wilt retired after the 1973 season, 12 years in the NBA. He still holds 90 individual NBA Records 43 years after he left.

Russ played 13 years, during which his teammates not only constantly changed but Red was drafting late or last for replacements. As for records, Russ holds one that will never be broken. Ever. In any major league sport. ;)

When you talk about Russell you have to talk in terms of team greatness, the Celtics didn't change much over his 13-years. He has 11 Championships, but teammate Sam Jones has 10, Tom Heinsohn, K.C. Jones, John Havlicheck and Satch Sanders have 8, Jim Lostocff and Frank Ramsey have 7, Bob Cousey have 6, and Don Nelson and Larry Seigfried have 5, so the change you talk about wasn't very much, was it?The conversation isn't about team success, it's about individual greatness and on that point between Russell and Chamberlain there's no argument, even from Russell himself.

OK, but may we agree that one of Russ's greatest attributes was that he helped make his teammates better, even to greatness. He did so by his extraordinary dedication and intensity, clutch play, and selflessness. It may be fairly said that he actually inspired them.

I believe this quality set him apart from all but a very few pro athletes. How else could players like Luscotoff and Siegfried collect so much hardware? ;)
