The Rt. 1 corridor is going to see major development in the next few years.  There is now a small casino at the junction of Rt. 1 and 495.  Currently, there is a lot of open land on Rt. 1 just north of 495. A [URL='http://superchargedracing.com']NasKart[/URL] is already being built.  New restaurants, including a Grill 110, are going in on Rt. 1 just north of I-495.  A second hotel has been added at Patriot Place.  Trillium brewing in Canton is not far, nor Castle Island in Norwood.  That part of the state is booming. I live there and see it every day.

For all the insistence that a city location is required, there are more people within a 45 minute drive of Foxborough than in all of metro Austin.  There are a lot of soccer fans in the metro-west Boston suburbs, and in the Providence area.
