I’d go just to do something different. I’m tired of movies video games and walking

Exactly, I'm not a soccer fan, but right now I think I would go some weekend in October just because.

I enjoy soccer superficially. I’ll watch the big games and World Cup, but have no idea what the rules are

Lol so MLS can play at UConn’s football stadium but UConn can’t?
In fairness, soccer teams are significantly smaller so it’s not really 50 or so guys on top of each other on the sidelines like in football

Seems to have three things to know, i) no hands, ii) put the ball in goal and iii) flop like a fish whenever there is contact or even when there isn't contact - just flop around.

This will look better on the Rent's resume than the Hartford Colonials. I won't be surprised if Connecticut gets an XFL team in the future.

Do we know the no fans is permanent or just go now? For example the Patriots have no fans today but the state may allow fans in October.

To be honest, I’m surprised this took so long.

Surprised that they are playing soccer but not football or surprised someone brought up that inconsistency?

Surprised that it took so long for some one to dump on it. As far as I know there's no inconsistency. I haven't heard the state say they can't have fans. I would imagine they could have fans if they follow the same protocols that Hardtford Athletic does. If they don't have fans I'm assuming it wasn't worth the investment in the protocols for them.

No fans? Please reconsider state of CT... allow 20% of capacity or something... that might be fun.

this is getting dumb. I am serious about corona. But 20% capacity outside is Not dangerous.
