We know KO is no Norman Dale. Good ole Norm kept Ray's ass glued to the bench when Ray went Crazy Ivan calling his own number. Norm finished with the game with four. He had a plan and stuck to it. It helped Mr. Dale out that he had an ace in the hole in Jimmy Chipwood. I don't think KO has someone watching from the stands that is going to put the team on his shoulders like Kemba or Bazz. KO came off looking like a feckless leader by benching him for approximately 15 minutes of the second half and then putting him back out once the game was over.

KO went all in on his hand last night. He chose to throw to Adams under the bus with a vague "reasons" reason to the media. Adams has more eligibility than the rest of the guards on the roster combined. Adams can also say peace out at the end of the season and play three more years almost anywhere else. Whatever Adams did early in the second half, it was subtle but it got KO's attention.

KO made the value choice that losing a conference road game in February by benching Adams was a better long term proposition than playing through the disconnect, winning and addressing the problem behind closed doors at practice or in the coach's office.

There is a MAJOR locker room issue. None of us know the whole story, but it has to be player(s) vs. coaches or players vs. players. KO went all in on Purvis, Gibbs and Calhoun. For this season, UConn goes as far as those three can take the team.

Didn't seton hall have major locker room issues revolving around a highly Touted freshman point guard?

Gibbs drama 2.0??

Gibbs has not helped his stock going forward by playing as a grad student but rather his weakness have been more exposed.

Adams will be fine. Freshman with strong personalities always create coaching clashes (Khalid, Bazz, Boat). The only thing to be concerned about if its a personal thing rather than a principle thing.

Its no fun being the 'whipping boy' on a team, especially for more than one season. Almost every team/coach has one, and freshman are always fresh meat and soft targets. I just hope its not Jalen (long term).

Great. Let's make it our mission to air the team's dirty laundry and make this place even more miserable.

Would you prefer Terrence Samuel? I'm with everyone else who can't stand to watch Gibbs dribble out the shot clock, but we'd be worse off without him.
