As UConn had the 4th and 4 and a potential 42 yard FG I had visions of watching Boatright as a frosh nail 3 FT's to put a game against FSU in his freshman year in to OT.

Tarbutt had a national reputation and had kicked pressure FG's in high school much longer. On the road, hostile crowd, put him in and see what he has. At a minimum it gives you a reference point.

And it also puts the rest of the FG kicking team on film.

I would be very surprised if the ST coach doesn't have some one on one time with Diaco on the flight home.

XP's can't be a variable for the team going forward.

Tarbutt is a career o/1 on FG's. That was not the spot to put him in. Based on the play the FG would likely have been blocked. I would have been good with kicking or going for it. The fake was the only wrong move there.

I think I'd rather see one kicker. Let them battle it out and go from there. Of course it will do no good unless they straighten out the blocking.
