Odd. I thought Missouri joined the SEC like 3 weeks ago.

Bevo managed to ruin some rivalries.
Yawn. How so, exactly? By starting their own network? One they approached A&M to do jointly? After approaching the conference to do a Big XII-wide network? By being a market and a brand that has brought millions to every member school in the conference?

Actually, Missouri has been creating instability in the Big XII for years by doing everything but holding out a "will give head for Big 10 entry" sign on the side of the road. But sure, let's blame Texas.

And what relevant rivalry has Missouri ever been involved in? They suck, they've always sucked, they're going to get their asses handed to them in the SEC, and their Texas recruiting pipelines are going to dry up. Good call Missouri.

Why have 25% of the B12 teams left the B12 over the past year+? something is driving teams away.

I read recently (can't remember where) where Deloss Dodds was saying Texas expected it was going to cost THEM for the Longhorn Network and Fox came in and offered 3 million a year and they were ecstatic, then ESPN came and offered 15 million a year. Who is going to say no to something like that? Their initial goal for the LHN according to Dodd was to get the non revenue sports on TV for the kids and their families. Could Dodds be full of ? I guess so, but they may have just stumbled upon a huge money maker by being forward thinking. They're not stopping anyone else from starting their own network.

They didn't "stumble" upon anything. The whole intent around having their own network was $$. Nothing wrong w/ that, but Dodd is pissing down people's backs and trying to tell them it's raining if he wants anyone to believe this was solely about getting the non revenue sports on TV. Whose idea do people really think it was to add Texas HS FB to the comtent, specifically updates on UT recruits? They did ask aTm if they wanted in tho, that is true. Not sure on the terms they outlined to aTm, and I'm skeptical tht it was 50/50 type deal, but they did ask the Ags if they wanted to be associated w/ it.
