If we play the way we did against SC we win easily. However, the margin for error for this team is pretty smal and it will take a 40 minute effort against an improved Vandy team.

Fortunately by playing so many players Coach Schaefer will hopefully have options if someone comes out flat. This could be a game that X Wiggins, R Jackson, J Danberry and our freshmen guards could have a field day by speeding up the pace of the game.

I would think so. MSST played very very well in a super tough environment and even learned about some bench players.

In Vic's press conference the other day, he brought out Mingo-Young and Rickea to sit next to him. Previously, it's been Myah Taylor. Then he said he wasn't afraid to make some changes, and I assume he meant the lineup. So I'm interested to see who starts tonight.

Rickea is phenomenal but she disappears often for stretches in a game.

Offense is stagnant and just dribble horrizonally. No one is setting any screens or cutting.

I've never seen officials line players up for free throws and then reverse a block/charge.

It's weird to me how basketball officials would now rather whistle a hand check, or a questionable offensive foul, than the ball handler getting hammered at the rim.

Although against LSU, who plays a matchup zone (and man to man), MSU scored at will in the paint on us no matter what defense we played until they went off the deep end in the 4th quarter.

I am not surprised at the way we are playing. I kind of expected it. We need to gut this game out the rest of the way and get a win.

Not sure why we keep driving to the basket , it is okay to pull up and take an eight foot jump shot. SMH
Plus slow the ball down and quit rushing everything.
