Miss St has no team chemistry or have any plans offensively. They don’t have McCowan to simply lob the ball to

I thought being an early game on the road for MSU might be a bit of an equalizer. I suspect MSU will wake up in the second half.

It was a tie game with about a minute to play, but then MS State stretched the lead to 5 with a lucky 40-foot heave at the halftime buzzer.

The Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette are givin' hell to those easterners.

I admit it I am concerned. MSST looked awful this game. No team chemistry, no outside shooting, and they appear to be getting worse rather than better. If we continue this trend we will be lucky to be a mid level team in the SEC. Vic needs to settle on a starting five and first level backups so the players can develop some chemistry.

Yeah I can see now why Coach Schaefer was pushing for M Moore. It’s almost as if M Taylor is trying to play like J Holmes instead of playing her own game. She also still is not very vocal. It’s exacerbated by no other players stepping up into the role.

I also would have thought the lineup would have tightened a little by now. I can’t tell if Coach Schaefer is still experimenting or if an alpha group still hasn’t separated itself. I think it’s still way too early to throw in the towel or even get too down. However there is still a lot of work to do.
