It’s been said that Geno is “near sighted.” He can only see about half way down the bench. In order for Mir to get into the rotation, she’s going to have to work her way past others that are in front of her on the depth chart. That has to be done in practice.Hi,
Any word on how she is doing? She was a fairly highly-ranked recruit from last year. Does she have a chance to get into the rotation this year?
Thoughts?
She was practicing yesterday. Geno talked a bit about Mir on his radio show last night. No mention of an injury.Isn't she dealing with injury?
I would like to see a lot more of Mir than I saw last year. A lot more!!!She was practicing yesterday. Geno talked a bit about Mir on his radio show last night. No mention of an injury.
let's start with her making simple lay ups.........I've rarely seen a player need to grab two offensive rebounds off her own misses to make a shot........Assuming she is healthy, Mir is an exceptional athlete, with Gabbyesque jumping ability, who is capable of being an excellent defender. But for Mir to play more, she absolutely has to develop her ability to score. She doesn’t necessarily need to become a threat from 3, but she needs to be able to consistently hit her midrange jumper and attack the basket off the dribble.
On his show didn’t he call Aubrey offense and mir more defensive specialistsShe was practicing yesterday. Geno talked a bit about Mir on his radio show last night. No mention of an injury.
At least she grabs her own miss.let's start with her making simple lay ups.........I've rarely seen a player need to grab two offensive rebounds off her own misses to make a shot........
she's a super athlete who could probably get four or five offensive boards if she needed to but she could make life so much easier for herself if she could just develop a soft touch........At least she grabs her own miss.
