I seldom complain about a game with too few whistles, but I don’t believe there was a single foul called in the first quarter. There was one play when the ball was being passed to Collier, who was obviously pushed about four feet by (IIRC) Hawkins. Then in the second they called some ticky-tack fouls.

Looks like an All-Star team to me. The league was missing a ton of talent last season.

Some bad reffing down the stretch....bad out of bounds called against Washington and Minnesota gets ball back and scores. now down by 1 with about 11 seconds left rather than down 3 with Washington likely at the line.

Defense not good enough. Generally strong games by Phessa and Crystal but Crystal could not get the 3 pt shots to fall.

Especially when they needed a three point shot their last two possessions. She is shooting a very high percentage on her threes. I don't like Dangerfield with the ball with the clock running out at the end of a game or quarter. Most of the time at UConn and this season that did not work out well.
