I'll admit I'm rather surprised, Dangerfield is matching Vandersloot in assists, with a lot less TOs, and a lot more points.

Dangerfield and Collier are doing their thing, but the Chicago contingent of UConn alums aren't nearly as productive.

edit--whoops, Sloot had 2 points last time I looked, now she's up to 8.

Despite the lead I feel like the Lynx are really missing Fowles tonight. The Sky's big bigs are are handful.

Wow, an 18 point lead evaporated in no time at all.

edit--was down to 2, now back to 7

Phew! Super gritty game, but the Lynx pull it out 86-83.

Dantas w/ a big game, 28 points on 10-13 shooting.

Really uncharacteristic 8 TOs for Sloot. She did finish w/ 13 points and 12 assist/ 15 points/7 assists for Dangerfield.

Dantas was the difference tonight, as she had 28 points on 5-5 from the arc. Phee didn't get many good looks tonight, and Crystal was only 0-1 from the arc.

Final 86-83 Minny, as Chicago couldn't make a 3-pointer at the end.

Sloot averages 9.4:2.6 but had 12:8 A:TO tonight. Minnesota players do have quick hands.

As good as Sloot is she does seem to struggle in end-of-game possessions with the game on the line. Not sure where she was going during that last possession. Reminds me of the end of the game against the Sun a few weeks back and the playoff game last season.

.-.
I've heard that criticism of Sloot. Early in the year Chicago was winning one possession games regularly. There was that beautiful dish to Azura for a game winner not too long ago.
