Watching the game last night the difference between him and JC is mind blowing. Yes I know the roster on the Knicks isnt the greatest but does he ever draw up post up plays, his offense is only succesful with an Elite PG ie Nash. They had Iman Shumpert run the offense (who i do like btw) instead of getting guys involved he just chucks up shots instead of running the offense, now I bring this up because if that was a Uconn pg not running the offense what do you think JC would do? He would take the guy out and sit him down for a minute or 2 and give him his 2 cents then put him back in, but what does do nothing, just stand there with that stupid smirk on his face. Knicks are a soft lazy bunch, you are a reflection of your own coach, Uconn may lose but it wont be because they are soft.

Grantland had a great article on the idiocy of Knicks fans blaming D'Antoni for anything wrong with the Knicks.

They never have given him a roster suited for his system. They traded every piece they had needlessly, stupidly, for a player who they would have signed as a FA, Carmelo Anthony, who is also a terrible fit for his system.

I never said he should be fired and the blame isnt all Dantonio the players are equally to blame as well. Yes the Melo trade was a killer losing Felton especially in that trade killed them. Dantonio never was a great coach the fact that you need a HOF pg to run your system shows you are not a great coach. Im just basing my opinion off of what im seeing in the games.

You said he's a horrible coach but you don't want him fired? Fact is other than Melo, Amare, and Chandler the talent is pitiful. Except Shupert might be a player

First of all, its D'antoni. He had terrific offenses every year in Phoenix running a great pick and roll game and spreading the floor with shooters. For some reason, the management decided to get half of the pick and roll tandem in Amare but have lacked the PG and shooters.

I agree that the Melo trade was moronic. He would have landed their as an FA and that Melo, Gallo, Amare front court would be absolutely amazing on offense (yes, a shitshow on defense). Good PG in Felton and possibly Chandler, but he is likely in exile in Chinca anyways.
