Down to 70$ in the secondary markets.

That has to be UConn selling the huge blocks right? Rows and rows of 20 seats?

Are they not putting these on sale as single game tickets?

That's what I was gonna say... I was thinking this is a broker afraid that a UMD loss will drive price down farther?

I passed off my season tickets to my brother. I still want to fly back for this one, but I am going to wait and see what happens with the Terps. Been travelling quite a bit in August and it's hard to justify the flight expenses. I've never had an experience like I did at the Rent for Thursday night.

Probably will make it back for Thanksgiving for sure.

I guess my "sell the Michigan ticket for $300 and pay for my men's BB season tickets" plan is now DOA.

Honestly it never had a chance. I could have seen getting $100 a piece.

Oh and basketball ticket deadlines are being extended, so that's a sweet sign.

$27 a game for the XL is not going to happen guys.

that's what we paid for our season tickets - $27 a pop this year. Got it in for late Aug since that was the priority deadline.

The priority deadline was extended until tomorrow.

Charging season ticket holders full for Southern Connecticut or Concordia is stupid beyond belief.

They've been doing it for years. And they wonder why the HCC is an empty cavern half the time.....

Yeah there are still A TON of tickets for this game on StubHub and they are expensive as hell. I'm sure they will fall the closer we get to the game regardless of UMD. Surprisingly there are a lot of seats in the visitors section available.

Kind of unrelated but I don't feel like making a new thread for it. I checked the ticket site and for the UMD game there is a mention of "portable bleacher seats near the scoreboard."

I've never sat near the scoreboard before but I'm in 131 this year and wow that open section is so stupid.

It's definitely UConn selling. StubHub has tickets in the temporary end zone seats for Michigan that have never been offered for sale through the UConn system. They even have those sections on their seating chart while UConn's system doesn't. Where else would they get those blocks of tickets and seating info?

Couldn't they be part of Michigan's allotment (the additional 2k seats that were part of the contract)?? If they are Michigan Tix they wouldn't be in the UConn system for sale per se.

The temp tickets are the cheaper ones and are smaller lots. If you go to about $160 there are 20 seat rows available all for the same price.

Is there actually a chance that we won't have a packed house for this game?
It sure seems that way... Witness the firepower of a fully operational Pasqualoni.

UConn will sell those tickets at $60 in the future, will certainly sell out. Attendance at game's end if it doesn't go well....

Oh geez, can you imagine? If that happens, Warde should fire Pasqualoni after the 1st quarter and send out an APB SOS to UCONN fans to the affect of "ding dong, the witch is dead! Get to the Rent now and we'll buy you a beer!". We all know UCONN fans don't get to their seats until the 2nd quarter anyway.

Boy, what a PR disaster that would be. A non-sellout for Michigan should mean two things:
1. Pasqualoni and DeLeone fired;
2. removal of the Conference Realignment board on this site

Now I'm nervous. I am less of a basketball fan than football but I went to the UL and Fruit Flies games last year at the XL and saw thousands of empties. I was shocked. I figured both of those games were sure-thing sellouts. Connecticut fans sure are a fickle bunch so I definitely wouldn't bet against a non-sellout for Michigan.

Terrifying, eh? No better way to show the B1G that we belong than to sell less than 42k tickets and get steamrolled. I haven't hated too much on Warde yet, but if we are short of a sell out, he'll have some 'splainin to do. Towson aside, a sell out should never be in question for this game.

The guy in the row behind me at The Rent has a package of 8, and he said (at the Towson game) that he put 6 of them on StubHub.

Four of them already sold at $390 apiece.

He got awfully lucky then and sold at the right time. They really good seats or something?

Not sure why someone would pay $390 when a season ticket could be had for a third of that but I guess you can't account for everyone.

I honestly believe that the UConn administration is being greedy, and at a time where they cannot afford to be greedy. 1) Lower the ticket prices, get the casual fans into the building. 2) Get the casual fans in the building, make the casual fan a diehard. 3) Make the casual fan a diehard, then you make their children diehards.

A simple formula, really. One that many institutions have already followed. The ticket prices we charge for a building that we don't sell out are ridiculous...
