I'm rooting for Michigan. SMU can't make the tourney so anything that helps a former one time opponent increase their standing helps us. Though an SMU win can increase our conference respect marginally.

Not the most pressing on a game day. Someone probably has some complex algorithm to figure it out.

Since UConn plays SMU 2 times, it would help UConn's RPI more if SMU wins this game. Not a big deal wither way tho.

SMU is going to destroy UM inside. If UM's three's aren't falling its going to be ugly.

Michigan can get a lot more quality wins in the Big 10 to make our win vs them still a good one. So I want SMU.

SMU. Like Jluc said, Michigan will have quality win opportunities. We need AAC teams to win as many marquee OOC games as possible.

SMU only for conference reasons. Can't believe I'm saying that.

For the RPI, an SMU win is better because we play them twice.

For our resume, it depends on how we do vs. SMU. If we lose twice to SMU, we probably will have wanted Michigan to win, since "marquee wins" matter more than "marquee losses". If we go 1-1 vs. SMU, then it's about a wash, and the RPI nudge pushes it over the top for wanting to win SMU tonight. If we go 2-0 vs. SMU, then we definitely will have wanted SMU to win.

Lost among the issues from last night -

Looks like SMU will again be a pain to deal with. They spanked Michigan by 24 and their defense held LeVert to just 1 FG and 5 pts.

And w/out Marcus Kennedy and LB
