One of those deals where anything would have been better than what he did. Like the Shirreffs sack on 4th down but not as absurdly stupid. If he falls on it at his 40 it's a 57 yard FG assuming they have 2-3 seconds left. Posession is everything and the kid totally lost his mind. This first mistake is excusable but the second isn't. Hope he recovers but it's gonna be a rough week.

Just realized if they throw the ball straight up into the air they leave one or 2 seconds on the clock with the ball at MSU 47 yard line and ZERO timeouts for MSU. Maybe time for one hail Mary but that's hindsight.

Went to a sports bar and pizza joint (live in SC) and a large group of Michigan alumni had reserved a portion of the restaurant for that game. Needless to say the super high they had hit a PP bottom in a 10 second swing.

After they left I started a conversation with the folks in the booth next to us. We all felt for those fans. He and his wife are Eagles fans and have given up hope they will win a NC in their lifetime. I laughed and told him my wife and I are Eagles fans. Then he says things are not all bad. He and his wife are UConn alumni and they are B!G UConn fans. The juxtaposition of these events has to mean something.
