Tiff as a top 10 player--I like it. And I concur.

Also, nice recognition for Green Bay and Wojta.

Next year, the second O sister will move to the top 5. Nneka has set the bar high for Chiney.

Mechelle's top 5 were my pre-season picks. A month ago, I was wondering about Odyssey, but she came up big in the TAMU game.

I don't see how Novosel doesn't get any consideration

Novosel is top 10 in my book.

No Stricklen and no Glory Johnson. Been a long time since a Tennessee player was not mentioned, I am guessing.

Interesting the list does not include Stricklen or Johnson of Tenn. Stricklen doesn't belong on any AA list, but I think a case can be made for Glory Johnson. I'm sure the disappointing season for the LV team hurt her chances.

Odyssey plays big in big games. She is capable of some lackluster games against lesser opponents, but when a big time game rolls around, her intensity and focus go up exponentially.

I assume she did, but did not make the top 10.

I love Novosel's game, but her stats for the season indicate that she's not quite as complete a player as others. Also, it may be that her shooting slump, which began with the Tenn game hurt her chances, as well as just okay assist numbers hurt her chances. She scored in single digits in 5 of ND's last 10 games. She ended the season on a high note with big games against USF and UConn.

Novosel shot the ball well (45% on FGs; 43% on 3s), her rebounds/gm are okay (3.8), but I was surprised by her assist total (64; 2.1/gm), and her A/TO (64/69).

Well, this is one person's AA list. I don't think this is the list we will see when the coaches vote.

Glory Johnson. I'm sure the disappointing season for the LV team hurt her chances.
Agree. An AA should be able to carry her team to victory. Having not done that given a supporting cast of High School AAs, she doesn't deserve it. The elbow play didn't help either.

I would replace Prahlis with Taylor Hill she is the stability and real heartbeat of that team.
I was thinking the same, though I have seen little of OSU this year. Sammy has been around longer and is the PG, but Tayler's scoring is impressive.

And when Sammy leaves the court she runs the offense well, too.

I look forward to watching the ACC final. Let's see if ND pulls out the red cape and plays matador defense like everyone claims.

The Steelers had the Iron Curtain. MD can have the Red Cape.

Would have to agree with Voepel. I am shocked not to see any Dukies on the list. My guess is that Gray & Williams will be on the list the next cpl of years. Way to go Julie Wojta from Green Bay....Congrats!

One person I would say that should of at least been 2nd team is Alyssa Thomas from Maryland.

Glory's #1 problem is that few All-Americans come from teams with 8 losses although this year it might be possible, especially, with the open road that has now been given to TN in the SEC tourney.

Alyssa Thomas and Shenice Johnson of Miami are among the top 15 players in the country. I'd put them in my top 10.

Strong statement by Glory this week for AA honors. Her energy and passion were tremendous during the SEC tourney.
