From your (or their) lips to God's ears! With Maryland, UVA and Rutgers. Wtf?
Sports radio station. It was a rap/reggae station right?
In this case, I don't think the Virginia legislature will care. VT would be perfect for the SEC.Where do we sign? No way UVA goes without VT.
Agreed, why would they care? Both programs are in good shape nowIn this case, I don't think the Virginia legislature will care. VT would be perfect for the SEC.
Don't be so sure. The governor's move (a different governor by the way) was to ensure that Va Tech wasn't left out in the cold (remember, the BE supposedly was going to shrivel up and die after the first ACC raid) because of a vote that UVA was in favor of. Va Tech still will have a solid home even if UVA leaves and, of more importance, UVA leaving would free up Va Tech to pursue an upgrade of their own in a conference they would be more of a cultural fit (SEC, possibly B-12).Where do we sign? No way UVA goes without VT.
Golden rule in college conference alignment (at least east of the Mississippi): If the B1G invites you, you do not refuse.Agreed, why would they care? Both programs are in good shape now
We've been mentioned in the media before.I was curious as to why we weren't getting looks by the Big 10. Maybe we were after all?
Im confused how that relates to my suggestion that the Governor of Virginia wouldnt intercede on behalf of Va Tech if UVA wanted to leave.Golden rule in college conference alignment (at least east of the Mississippi): If the B1G invites you, you do not refuse.
Not blowing a load over this. I suspect we are going ACC and this is false info.
