How can this be? Schadenfreude, here I come, failing a furious and successful comeback by the Irish.

Wow. And they (Miami) don't look intimidated at all playing against Notre Dame.

Tulane actually beat Miami. I don't see UCONN having trouble with them but there are a few teams in the American that are better than I think the casual fan thought...

Why is Taya Reimer not in the lineup? She sick? I can't imagine she is the reason the Irish offense was suffering the first half.

This is the same Miami team that lost to Tulane on 12/19.

Yeah. I saw that. Tulane is pretty decent. I think this was the game where Tulane was hitting almost every shot. I think it was 55%-60% in the 2nd half of that game against Miami. When you have that hot shooting game, you just have to ride it out. Tulane had that game against Miami.

Notre Dame looked out of sync for 30 minutes. They looked flat from the start and really did not get into gear until way late in the game. Congrats to Miami for having a great game plan.

Reimer did not make the trip due to personal reasons. No further word on that yet.

Turner and Westbeld were both in foul trouble so that really hurt. Throw in Loyd being in foul trouble and well...there you go.

I have been a lone wolf all season saying Notre Dame does not have a top tier team and would not make it to the Final Four. They have a great player and a great freshman. A good pt guard. The supporting cast to Lloyd is not enough to get this team to the Championship. Cable, Mabrey, Huffing... etc...., just don't stack up against most of the very athletically talented teams now. This is not a knock, just the way I see it. A healthy Rutgers, or Syracuse was scaring me more than Notre Dame in this years regionals.

I too love the Miami coach. I think she was the head coach of the USA team that just fell in love with every facet of Morgan Tuck's game and personality. She made a reference that with Tuck in the huddles, there wasn't much of a need for her to coach. She envied Geno for having a player and a person like her. She just seams like a class act. Congrats to her. There is no Diggins, Mallory, Novasel, McBride. One superstar doesnt cut it anymore in the womens game.

Miami's center reminded me of Kiah -- block after block. That kid Motley or Moxley or whatever her name was just had a wonderful night against ND. They couldn't stop her even a little bit.
