Nice ball movement around the perimeter...then inside...then back outside to find Kai for THREE...timeout Miami. Pack on a 12-0 run to blow this one open. 2:53 left 1st quarter...NC State up 23-8.

My YouTubeTV program guide doesn't have this game listed on ACCN.

If there’s some kind of mixup, you should still be able to watch the game online at the link above using your YouTubeTV credentials to log-in.

5:00 to go 2nd quarter...NC State up 36-16 and going to the line for two when play resumes. These will be the first FT in this game for either team.

Wolfpack Women are shooting 51.9% from the field, including 8 of 14 from THREE and outrebounding Miami 20-10.

Kelsey Marshall leads Miami with 10 points.

No need, the game is on ACCN but is not listed. So, thanks again.

Halftime: NC State very impressive in a 48-16 lead. Miami held to just 5 points in the 2nd stanza.

Elissa Cunane with 16 points to lead all scorers...she also grabbed 7 rebounds. Kayla Jones has 10 points, and a pedestrian 3 rebounds, Jakia Brown-Turner and Kai Crutchfield 8 each for NC State, which shot 54.5% from the field in the first half, including 8 of 15 from THREE and racked up 9 assists on 18 made baskets. NC State also won the rebounding battle, 26-13.

Miami was led by Kelsey Marshall, who scored 10 points and was 2 of 8 from THREE. The Hurricanes shot 20.7% on 6 of 29 shooting, and missed 11 of its last 12 shots in the half.

I am going to say this again...I am so impressed by Muffet's demeanor and personality on the ACCN halftime shows. I am wondering if she will be elevated to the ESPN stage at some point this season, she is waaaaay better than Landers imo.

NC State looks good here, but my goodness. Miami is looking like LSU today.

I mused elsewhere that Miami might barely be inside the top 10 teams in the state of Florida. That estimate may need a downward revision.

Timeout Miami...6:50 left 3rd quarter. NC State up 52-18. Elissa Cunane has 18 points for NC State, and Jakia Brown-Turner has joined Cunane and Kayla Jones in double-figures.

Last year, NC State beat Miami 50-48.

Guessing ESPN likes Lander's Buffoonery . But I agree with MM as an excellent analyst

4:22 left 3rd quarter...NC State up now 58-24. Miami has changed their approach and having some success driving to the basket and drawing fouls. Elissa Cunane now on the bench with 3 fouls...and Camille Hobby has just picked up her second.

Four players now in double figures for NC State, with Kai Crutchfield joining the club; Kai now has 14 on the day, including 3 of 4 from THREE.

End of 3rd quarter...NC State up 67-29. Starters have been sent to the bench and NC State played the last three minutes of the quarter with three freshmen and two sophomores on the court.

5:41 left, NC State leading 72-33. 13 players have seen the floor for NC State, and 9 have scored at least 1 point.

Final: NC State beats Miami, 78-47, to move to 8-0 on the season, 3-0 ACC. Miami falls to 4-2, 1-2 ACC.

4 players finished in double figures for NC State: Elissa Cunane 18 points/7 rebounds...Kai Crutchfield 14 points/5 rebounds...Jakia Brown-Turner and Kayla Jones 10 points each. 11 players scored for NC State. The leading rebounder was Jada Boyd in just her second game back from a miniscus tear, grabbing 9 boards to go along with 6 points.

For the game, NC State shot 53.6% from the field on 30 of 56 from the field, 10 of 25 from long range. The Wolfpack Women notched 15 assists, turned the ball over 18 times, most of those in the fourth quarter, and won the rebounding battle 48-29.

Miami shot 27.4% from the field, was 8 of 21 from long range and 5 of 13 from the FT line. The Hurricanes were led in scoring by Kelsey Marshall, with 14 points...while Taylor Mason added 10 to go along with a team-leading 8 rebounds.

NC State is off now until New Years Eve, when they will travel to play a dangerous Georgia Tech team in Atlanta.

NC State is rounding itself into a team that seemingly has national title aspirations and ability. I still don’t see it happening, but outside of UConn, I don’t know that there’s a team I’d clearly bet on over NC State in a head-to-head.

I think Oregon, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M would match up well against NC St. with their size, length, and talent. I don’t think NC State would beat USC again (but they already have, so that’s not a selling point). I’ll certainly be interested to see Louisville and NC State clash for what seems like it has to be control of the ACC. L’Ville probably has the second-best backcourt in the nation, but NC State is plenty big on the perimeter. Should be a great game.
