Should be a fun one tonight.

Obviously the spotlight will be on Soto. I'm very curious to see how he responds at the plate. I have not had a knee jerk reaction to him but he has not come through in a good handful of spots yet. His stats for May are rising and he hits everything hard, often right at fielders. I want to see him under this pressure.

Yanks will miss Senga and Holmes, probably their two best starters right now. All 5 starters are pitching well though so it's not an excuse.

I'd love to see a game on the line Diaz vs Judge matchup at some point.

Damn Deep!!!! You are a prophet. Total gas by Diaz with 2 outs in the 9th up high and Judge whiffed!

Tomorrow Soto unleashes.

That was awesome. The best part is they acted like it was just another win.

That was a fun game, all the guys the Yankees pivoted to after Soto destroyed the Mets.

Weird series. Most of the Yankee rallies came from innings where the ball barely left the infield. Walks and dribblers and errors.

Also, to an extent I get the Soto stuff but the Yankee fans are a little too butthurt about it. He was there one year on a one year deal and never gave any indication he was staying more than that.

I don’t get it either….Soto doesn’t have a long history with the Yankees.

I always worry about these long term deals (look at Stanton), so I was ok with them using that money to sign multiple players. It also should allow them flexibility in the future. They have enough money committed to long term contracts already...they didn’t need another. Stanton has been clogging up the salary cap for years and that would be Soto in 10 years.

Don’t get me wrong…Soto is an incredible talent…and I loved him back to back with Judge in the lineup. But I am not upset he has moved on and i don’t get why other Yankee fans would be either.
