Andrew Geres third goal of the season gives UConn a 1-0 lead at half time over Tulsa. Good to see some offense from someone other than Thiam.

John Tuite reported at half time that he talked to Ray Reid before the game, and asked about any new soccer stadium updates. Reid said that as of now, ground is to be broken on the new stadium on December 17, 2017.

UConn holds on to a good road victory over Tulsa, but just barely. With about 5 minutes to go, Tulsa was awarded a penalty kick, which was successful. However, the refs disallowed the goal (not sure why) and made Tulsa take the PK over again. On the second try, Levene made the save.

Dbmill. Always appreciate your updates and posts regarding the soccer and baseball teams. Looking like the soccer team is on a little of a run. Hope they keep it up, but especially hoping they can cause some damage in post season. Thanks again
