No score at halftime.

By the way, Providence is playing its first season at their new soccer facility. According to John Tuite, it is a big upgrade from what the Friars had before.

UConn gets a late second half goal by Thiam, who has really been the Huskies only consistent goal scoring threat all season. At any rate, a solid road win for the team.

John Tuite pretty much confirmed that the old Providence soccer field was perhaps the worst soccer facility in the old Big East, saying that it was worse than a lot of high school soccer fields. I definitely had gotten that impression over the years.

Solid win for the Huskies. The new field was a huge upgrade for PC. Only negative, artificial turf. Their previous field was a joke. The only D1 field that I saw that was worse was at Philadelphia Textile in 1981.
