Not a misprint. That was the final score. I don't recall a margin of victory that big in the NBA before.
It sounds like a score from when the UConn women play D2 schools in exhibitions or a first round NCAA tournament mismatch. Only difference is when UConn does it it's "bad for basketball".

LOL I thought this is a college game. Didn't know this is a NBA game.

How does a group of professional basketball players score only 79 points in 4 quarters...while giving up 152???

Games like that aren't good for the NBA. But games with that kind of margin happen every
year in women's college basketball....that does include UConn but they come from all over...and they too are
not 'good' for women's hoops.

There's a couple of reasons. Some of their best players didn't play and they are tanking for a good draft pick.
Reason 1 sounds logical. Only 20+ games into the season, it’s a little early to start tanking for draft picks. In addition, you don’t need to lose by 73 pts in order to tank. A one point loss is just as good.

Last point, if the season ended today, OKC would have only the 5th draft choice, and remember that the NBA has a draft lottery, so there’s no guarantee that the worst team gets the first pick.
