It’s been reported in the Courant that Megan is suffering from strep throat and will likely miss today’s game. Kyla will once again start in her place with Liv getting more PT as well. The good news is that strep usually goes away pretty quickly once you start treating it.

While I tend to agree, strep can sometimes run its course in 24 hrs. It’s possible that when she gets up this morning she could be considerably better. However, UConn should win this game comfortably, finals are next week and I’m sure Geno doesn’t want anyone else infected, so it may be best to err on the side of caution.
