eebmg: Thanks for posting the article. Always good to read about Megan Duffy, one of my fave Irish players who -- now that she's a coach -- has continued to work hard and carve out a niche for she and her players in her coaching capacity. DefenseBB: Thanks for the kind words. You're right! The Warrior-Husky games will give some direct reasons for continuing to dial into The Boneyard! ;) Thus far, at Miami (Ohio) and Marquette, Coach Duffy has demonstrated an ability to assess what talent she has and make it work: making the proverbial whole work better than the sum of its parts. That's a talent, for sure. The work at Marquette demonstrated this: meshing kids who by and large didn't play that much with incoming frosh (whom she didn't recruit) and making them play that high-intensity style of hers. What the hoop world hasn't had a chance to do is see how the kids she recruits for those schools then do. That got curtailed in Miami when she moved onto Marquette. We'll get a chance to see how this plays out a little next year and more so afterwards. Stay tuned....should be a fun ride.
